![]() Skin looking like skin is important to me. So, I have accepted some oils will come through. I’m an oily skin babe but I don’t want to look like I have a mask on my face. ![]() This gives such a beautiful look without all the matte-ness. L’Oreal has done it! I am having a great time with L’Oreal foundations in general. “10 out of 10! First foundation to match me perfectly. Tried it because tiktok told me to, kept using because I love it! 12/10 would recommend to a friend!” - Ginny “This is the best tinted serum foundation. It makes your skin look natural but better!” - AshRees It’s light-medium coverage and buildable. I have medium skin tone, and I’m able to wear shades 4-5 and 3-4 interchangably. “This product is awesome! Easy to use, very forgiving with fine lines and wrinkles, long-lasting, provides natural hydrated finish without looking oily or shimmery. I like this even better than the Fenty Ease Drop!” - Katie A little easy to overapply but just have to start small. Shade range is decent, the 4.5-5.5 Rich Medium is perfect for me. Lasts 10+ hours on me without breaking up, even on days when I’m on my feet all day running around (I manage a warehouse and it includes some pretty physical tasks). Luminous Glow can err on the side of greasy-looking in its dewiness and absolutely has to be set with a powder, even on my dry skin, otherwise it’ll slide around everywhere Power Fabric, on the other hand, sets itself for the most part, while still maintaining a healthy look without leaning oily at all.“Absolutely beautiful foundation! Love the feel - looks very skin-like (a co-worker even said she didn’t know I wore foundation, which I feel says a lot). While I wouldn’t describe it as immediately full coverage – a status reserved for the hardcore bases, like Estée Lauder Double Wear or the Milani Conceal and Correct 2 in 1 Foundation and Concealer – it is definitely on the higher end of the medium coverage spectrum, with buildable potential to a solid full coverage.Īlthough it is described as delivering a ‘luminous glow’, it is more of a satin finish (while Luminous Glow is, as the name would suggest, definitely luminous). The consistency of Power Fabric is also thicker than the Luminous Silk, which makes sense, as the Armani website describes Power Fabric as a full coverage foundation, while Luminous Silk is only described as ‘buildable’. Definitely something I’d recommend trying out for yourself. Luminous Silk does come in 24 shades, while Power Fabric only comes in 15 so, while I found my ideal shade, it may be more difficult depending on your skin tone. ![]() For example, while I am shade 4 in Luminous Silk, 3.5 was my shade of choice for the Power Fabric. Power Fabric is actually a better match for me Luminous Silk was slightly off, which wasn’t the end of the world but is irritating when you’re paying so much for a foundation. In terms of shade range, the Power Fabric runs slightly darker than its predecessor. Teams long-wear, full coverage with a luminous, lightweight second skin finish, leaves a non greasy effect, which delivers a long-lasting, luminous glow, contains a suspension of pigments, to help boldness of colour.īoth the Luminous Silk and Power Fabric retail for £40, so they are pretty much head to head: it really comes down to which one performs better. So, when Armani released the new Power Fabric Foundation that they claim In fact, my very first blog post was dedicated to the cult classic (if you want to read the post, it’s still up here – pretty embarrassing but the claims still ring true). The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation has been my holy grail for years.
